Recall Notice Given on Zero X and MX Electric Motorcycles

A voluntary recall has been issued by Zero Motorcycles, through the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, for the Zero X and Zero MX model year 2009 machines, which affects about 200 units. The recall was issued after Zero became aware of a problem with throttles sticking, leaving the motorcycles in the open position (ON or moving).

Zero Motorcycles Gets EPA Certificate of Conformity for 455mpg!

Zero Motorcycles issued a press release today announcing that they’ve received their Certificate of Conformity from the Environmental Protection Agency and have been rated equivalent to 455 miles per gallon under EPA standards!

Zero To Launch New Electric Street Sportbike This Fall

Electric motorcycle maker Zero Motorcycles, which recently debuted the Zero S enduro-style superbike and raced their Zero X motocross electric in Vegas recently, is now planning to introduce a new street bike. The bike will have full flarings and be made for non-offroad applications as a street bike.

The Quantya Track Swiss-Made Motocross Electric Motorcycle

Electric Motorcycles on Display at FIM Show in Geneva

We just got this great tip from our friend Skadamo over at the Electric Motorcycle Forum - several electric motorcycles are currently on display at the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) show in Switzerland. This exhibition is being held from Thursday 19 February until tomorrow, Sunday 22 February at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Geneva.
