Chery is showing two new electric vehicle concepts this year in Shanghai. The first is the Riich M1 EV and the other is a new Tiggo 3 EV. The Riich is a four-door micro-sedan while the Tiggo is a small SUV.

The Shanghai Auto Show is just around the corner - doors open on April 22nd - and news is already starting to filter out about some of the EV offerings due to be shown off at the show. One company who will be unveiling a new electric car product is Brilliance Auto, a Chinese auto manufacturer.

Earlier this month, we noted the announcement of Chinese company Chery Automotive’s hybrid BSG, the A5. Well, the company has announced another car, this one a pure electric, which is going into production within the year: the S18 EV.

Chery Motors in China has officially launched their new A5 BSG hybrid sedan. The former Chrysler partner debuted these cars at the Olympic games in Beijing, giving fifty of them to game officials to use.

The Chinese company Zhejiang 001 Group has debuted an amazing new product at the 29th Zhejiang International Bicycles and Electric-powered Cars Exhibition last week - a solar-powered electric car capable of going 90 miles on a full charge with a retail price of only $5,560.
