Brammo’s Enertia Gets Huge Price Cut

Brammo has dropped the price of the Enertia electric motorcycle from $11,995 to $7.995. This huge price cut doesn’t include the 10% federal credit, which drops the price further to $7,195. Many balked at the old price tag and it’s likely that increased production to meet Best Buy in-store models plus the consumer hangup (and competition from Zero and others) have changed Brammo’s plans.

TTXGP Unveils the TTX02, the Connected Electric Sport Bike

After a lot of fanfare and enticing lead-up, TTXGP finally unveiled their 2010 model TTX02, called the Mavizen, to showcase next year’s TTXGP races. The bike’s official race track debut will be in May when it leads the laps in California to begin the TTXGP US Series.

Lightning Tops Mission for New Record in Electric Motorcycles

Earlier in October, we talked about the Mission One team breaking the speed record for a production electric motorcycle. Well, it didn’t take long for the competition to show up. Lightning Motorcycles’ production prototype that bears their name burned past Mission’s speed (officially 150mph, unofficially 161mph) with a recorded 166.388mph hot streak.

Brammo To Debut New “Anti-Scooter” For Christmas Sales?

The rumor mill is alive again, this time with talk of Brammo having a secret vehicle they’ve been working on and which Asphalt and Rubber, which broke the story, says will on store shelves in 60 days. Apparently, getting the deal to sell Enertia electric motorcycles at Best Buy wasn’t good enough for Brammo. Despite only having recently begun full-swing production, the Oregon-based company may already be planning a new product release for later this year.

Brammo In Full Production: Pictures Prove It

Recently Brammo’s Facebook profile showed showed pictoral proof that Brammo has gone into full production of the Enertia electric motorcycle. We’ve talked about that bike more than once here on Zoomilife, but to see that it’s actually in mass production is just awesome.

TTXGP Announces Official Race Results

History was made at the Isle of Man and the world’s first zero carbon eGrandPrix (the TTXGP) took place today, June 12. The race involved a lot of riders, bikes, technology, and innovation and was the first of its kind ever to be held.

Best Buy Announces EVs: Currie and A2B as Well as Brammo and Segway

We’ve already announced that Best Buy will be carrying the Brammo Enertia in select stores and is already carrying the Segway Personal Transporter in some stores as well. Best Buy’s vague announcement about carrying electric vehicles has been clarified now.

Brammo Gets Serious About the TTXGP

There’s just over a month to go before the big race on the Isle of Man and Brammo is getting serious about it. Recently, their Enertia TTR entry into the TTXGP was seen cruising the highways in southern Oregon as the racer and his team get used to the bike.
