The Electric Vehicle Parade happened last weekend in Denver, Colorado and KillaCycle and ElectroCat (and Eva and the Hakansson crew) were part of it. The parade featured several plug-ins driving through downtown Denver in a parade.
The next day (Sunday the 27th), both the ElectroCat and KillaCycle went on to set some new records at the track.
Scotty Pollacheck rode the KillaCycle to a record-setting 1/4 mile at 7.864 and 169 miles per hour (National Electric Drag Racing Assoc). Here’s video:
The ElectroCat, ridden by Eva, also managed to pull in a NEDRA record for a 48v street legal motorcycle with a 13.249 at 52.97 mph (1/8 mile). The bike actually broke both the 1/8 and 1/4 mile, but only one time is allowed per run, so she took the 1/8 hoping for a better 1/4 later.
What could be hotter than a Swedish blond biker babe? How about one who does electric conversions of those motorcycles? Ooooh ya!
