If you’ve ever played a game from the 1990s whose graphics are all vector-based, then you’ll see exactly what the title above is talking about when you look at Hyundai’s new concept. That doesn’t mean it’s not cool, that’s just the first thing I thought of when I looked at it. The ix-Metro is a miniature crossover hybrid. Now in VGA!
No word yet on any specifics for it other than it’s got a hybrid power train and that it seats four.

The interior is pretty cool, in a sort of 1970s futuristic vision kind of way.
At any rate, the ix-Metro is a concept in a long line of hybrids and plug-ins that Hyundai either debuted or talked about in Frankfurt at the Auto Show this year. Quietly, Hyundai has grown to be the world’s fourth-largest automaker, selling 2.8 million vehicles in 2008 in 193 countries.
So they’re definitely one of the companies to watch.
