TTXGP Announces Official Race Results

History was made at the Isle of Man and the world’s first zero carbon eGrandPrix (the TTXGP) took place today, June 12. The race involved a lot of riders, bikes, technology, and innovation and was the first of its kind ever to be held.
Before we list the winners, ZoomiLife would like to salute all of those who participated, large and small, for their contributions. As video from our earlier post on the TTXGP trials stated, this is definitely something that was needed to help propel new transportation technologies forward.

First place in the Best Buy-sponsored PRO Class was Team Agni from the UK and India, with rider Rob Barber grabbing the trophy at 25 minutes, 53 seconds while averaging 87.43mph. You can see him above left flying out of the starter box.
Second place in the PRO Class was grabbed by the German XXL Racing Team and rider Thomas Schoenfelder (29 minutes, 4 seconds, 77.841mph). Third place went to Brammo Bike (US) and rider Mark Buckley (30 minutes, 2 seconds, 75.350mph). Nice riding!

In the OPEN Class, the title was nabbed by rider Chris Heath for the Electric Motorsport (US) team at 34 minutes, 17 seconds and averaging 66.022mph. Then came Barefoot Motors and rider Chris Petty (36 minutes, 23 seconds, 62.219mph) and TORK from India (bike pictured above) with rider John Crellin getting 37 minutes, 26 seconds at 60.475mph average.
