The folks at Eco Watercraft have made an all-electric jetski that runs up to 50mph for up to 3 hours. All quietly, on electric power, with no oil or fuel leaks like traditional units.
The company was founded by Barrett Taylor, who was inspired by his negative experience from fuming jetskis patrolling during an Ironman event he participated in. Another noted participant is product development expert Todd Kollin, who you may recognize from Electric Motorsport and the GPR-S.
When the ECO finally enters production (no word on when that will be, yet), it will be allowed on many lakes and waterways where traditional gasoline skis will not be.
