Thule has introduced a new bicycle rack for carrying an e-bike on your car. Most people who travel with their bicycles have a bike rack on top of or behind their car for carrying them. Anyone who owns an electric bicycle also knows that they often don’t really fit–or are very heavy to lift into place.
Thule’s new rack is designed specifically to accommodate electrics called the EuroPower. It’s capable of carrying up to 130 pounds of bike(s), has a loading ramp and brake light auxiliaries for safety, and the usual reliability associated with Thule.
No word yet on whether these will be available in North America (and when), but Thule has said that they will be adding an optional inverter and charging plug to power up the bikes soon.
Pretty cool news for e-bike enthusiasts!
