Ronn Motors has announced that the RBX Management Corporation will be testing the H2Go hydrogen injection system on two semi-trucks this summer. RBX Management is an independent contractor for FedEx.
The tests will take place on two diesel-burning semi-trucks (18 wheelers) over two months’ time. The first month will be without the H2Go in order to get a baseline for the trucks’ operating data. The next month will have the H2Go on board for comparison.
Ronn Motors claims the H2Go will improve the trucks’ mileage by 20-30% due to the injected hydrogen, which wich is generated on-board by the H2Go. All data will be collected by the trucks’ GPS tracking systems (pretty much standard equipment on most big trucks now) and by engine downloads in the shop.
Given the loud-and-proud MLM-style marketing of Ronn Motors, many are dubious as to the facts behind these claims. Ronn Motors is also taking their Scorpion “green supercar” to China this summer to show it off to auto execs there.
We wait with baited breath for the all-capital lettered headline in Ronn’s next press release in a couple of months.
