Revenge Verde E85 Super Car: 110mpg Coming in December at LA Auto Show

Revenge Designs has announced that they will be taking the HP2g engine from Doug Pelmear and will be putting them into a new super car. The new car will be called the Revenge Verde, will burn E85 (85% ethanol) and get 110mpg equivalent.
All that from a V8 that puts out 400 horses and 500 ft-lb of torque! All emissions are much lower than standard (thanks to the ethanol).

So far, no pictures of the new car have been released, so we’ll have to be satisfied with a logo. The company plans to make both a left and right-hand drive version of the Verde and manufacturing for the limited edition will be in Indiana at a new plant that Revenge is building now to house the engine shop.
While I’m no fan of corn-based ethanol, the fuel itself (when derived from better sources) is a great alternative to gasoline. The huge mileage claims of the HP2g are not from the ethanol, of course, but the hydrogen injection. I’ll refrain from comments on that until more unbiased field trials have been done. Those are underway for the HP2g as I type.
