Bad Boy Buggies: Electric 4×4 Vehicles, Made in Mississippi

Located in Natchez, Mississippi is a little company called Bad Boy Buggies and they make some serious 4wd all-terrain vehicles (ATV) models. And they’re all-electric!
There are three models: the Standard, the XT, and the Stretched. Each has a fairly specific set of tasks and specs and all three are really cool. If you’ve never owned one, an ATV can be one of the most useful utility vehicles on the planet. Not only can they go nearly anywhere, they can pull enormous amounts of weight for their size and can be a whole lot of fun to ride.

The Standard Bad Boy is a sit-down, golf cart-styled four wheeler that seats up to six. It has 26hp total through two 13hp motors, one for each axle. These give it 130ft-lb of torque. It has all of the features you normally expect from this type of ATV and weighs in at 1,650 pounds.
It’s total vehicle payload is 1,000 pounds and it comes in realtree hardwood camo, hunter green, red, and black.

The XT is roughly the same in size and shape, but has beefier specs. It has 40hp and 156ft-lb of torque from two 24v DC motors. It’s maximum payload is also 1,000 pounds and it’s available in the same colors plus Mossy Oak.

Finally, the Stretch model is a longer version of the Standard, having more comfortable seating for six. It otherwise has the same Specs as the Standard.
These are awesome! Definitely cool to see things like this becoming more popular.
