Electric Motorsport in Oakland, California has unveiled their two entries for the upcoming TTXGP on June 12. They have an entrant into two class races: the Open Class and the Pro Class. Both are all-electric motorcycles, one of which is their signature GPR-S, the first freeway-ready electric bike in the U.S.
The entry in the Open Class is the aforementioned GPR-S, race modified for the TTXGP (above).

The entry into the Pro Class is a modified R1 racer that Electric Motorsport is calling the R144. The company has not announced any plans to market this bike commercially.
Amazingly, Electric Motorsport is the parts supplier for many of the teams in the upcoming TTXGP. Founder and CEO of the company, Todd Kollin, says about supplying competitors: “it’s mainly to promote the technology and to have someone to race with, and besides we are in the parts business. Racing is just the fun part and it’s not much fun without competition.”
Well said, Todd, and good luck in June!
