Barefoot Motors, which makes the awesome Model One Electric ATV, has debuted their entry into the upcoming TTXGP competition. The motorcycle is a hand-crafted Ely Schless design (head of R&D at Barefoot) that uses li-ion batteries and the Barefoot proprietary drive train.
Not a lot of information is forthcoming from either Barefoot or the TTXGP people about this bike. Ely says it’s “fast.” That’s about it. Max Scheder Bieschin, CEO of Barefoot, says that Barefoot has no plans to manufacture the motorcycles commercially, but that this entry was a joint venture between them and Schless.
Schless is a licensed American Motorcycle Association rider and has experience racing superbikes. He will be riding the entry in the TTXGP and will be accompanied by family and friends to form the Barefoot Team at the event.
Awesome!
