If you’ve supersized it one too many times and are looking for a way to exercise and get healthy again, you’ve probably run into a problem: most bicycles are made for people under 200 pounds. I face this all the time, weighing 245 lbs, and it’s as annoying as all of the cool stuff made only for midgets (I’m 6′3″). Or kids: how come they only make kids-sizes for those cool roller skate shoes? Lame.
Anyway, Super Sized Cycles doesn’t make in-shoe roller skates for adults, but they do make electric bicycles specifically tailored to riders over 200 pounds. In fact, they offer five models right now ranging from touring to mountain to trike and even a scooter-style model. Prices are extremely reasonable and some models can carry up to 550 pounds in total.
So if you’re a little hefty around the middle and want to get out and pedal it off, it’s likely that Super Sized Cycles can help you out. This is a great niche that is often overlooked in bicycles and e-bikes. We’ll be featuring reviews of some of Super Sized Cycles models on our sister site, LEV Advisor, soon.
