MotoCzysz (say that too fast and you’ll get slapped) has designed and built the open architecture E1pc electric motorcycle and entered it into the TTXGP race.
First off, this bike is really, really cool to look at. I’m not a big “street rocket” fan, but this design is pretty swank in my book. I’m also partial to orange, which was the color of my dad’s pickup truck when I was a kid.
This bike features some impressive specs too. From the Ohlin linkage to the Brembo braking, there’s some high-end implements on this ride. The framework is all carbon fiber and aluminum.
The batteries are hot-swappable lithium-ion packs with digital configurations up to 15kWh. The 150ft-lb motor (peaking at 300) pumps out an impressive 115hp and a maximum speed of over 150mph (over 175 with gearbox). The whole shebang only weighs 195kg.
