Pininfarina has started a list of pre-order customers for the upcoming B0 electric car (pronounced B Zero), which they are building in partnership with Bollore. The 5-door hatchbacks will lease for 330 Euros per month and this includes 24 hour roadside assistance.
The company announced the first models will be off the production line early next year and that pre-order customers can visit select locations to test drive one of the 15 prototypes. The car will be available in France, Italy, Germany, the UK, Spain, and Switzerland and it may reach the U.S. and Asia by 2012.
The B0 will be built at the Turin, Italy plant of Pininfarina at a rate of 10,000 units for 2010 and double that in 2011. Two more production sites are planned (one in Montreal).
