When Brammo Motorsports got some venture funding from Best Buy Capital, the question was raised as to whether the retail chain would pick up the electric motorcycle for store sales. Well, the speculation is over.
It looks like select Best Buy locations will be carrying the fully electric Brammo Enertia motorcycle starting in May. All five locations selected are on the West Coast.
Best Buy plans to offer some interesting options to the bike, according to CEO Craig Bramscher. One is on-board cameras with Internet feeds and another is repairs and maintenance through specially-trained Geek Squad crews.
If this initial rollout is successful, Bramscher hinted, then Best Buys around the globe could be seeing the Enertia sooner than later.
