The Wheego Whip from Ruff and Tuff Electric Vehicles (RTEV) is now available for pre-order in the U.S. and Canada. The NEV has some great features for such a low price tag (just under $19,000) and will begin delivering this May.
The Whip qualifies for a 10% tax credit on the purchase price and if the Whip passes testing so it can be upgraded to a full-speed car, that upgrade will qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit.
RTEV is also offering a “refer a friend” bonus: get a friend to buy a Whip too and you both get $250.
