Raleigh, North Carolina has joined the ranks of the few and the proud who are installing plug-in stations city-wide throughout the U.S. Raleigh has plans to install eight plug-in charging stations over the next few months under Project Get Ready.
The systems in Raleigh will use pure credit card transactions, functioning very much like an ATM. The stations will be located in city parking garages, around North Carolina State University, and similar locations at a cost of between $1,000 and $4,000 each (depending on location).
