Fisker has announced that they are now taking pre-orders on the Karma S hard-top convertible, due to hit the streets in 2011 and debuting in street-ready prototype form at the Detroit Auto Show next January (2009).
The car is generally the same as the Karma, but with a convertible hard top and (likely) no integrated solar panels due to that. A deposit of $25,000 will secure your place in line to receive the first production models in 2011.
No price was announced, though Fisker’s PR man Russell Datz did say that it will likely be significantly more than the Karma sedan model, which goes into production this year.
