Yamaha Japan has announced three new electric bicycles for Japanese sales: the PAS Lithium S, the PAS CITY-S, and the PAS CITY-F.
All three bikes have the same base price tag of $1,200 and are essentially the same bicycle, with configurable options for varying riding styles and situations. All three are equipped with lithium-ion batteries and offer similar ranges (40 miles with pedal-assist, 13 miles motor-only).
All three models have standard reflectors and safety lights and regenerative braking as well as hand brakes. Differences between the models include frame size, tire type, basket and cargo configurations, etc.
