Hoyoung Jo, Jinseok Song, and Kyuwon Kim, students at Seoul National Unversity of Technology are design students. They’ve come up with a concept car/dune-buggy for the 2009 Michelin Challenge Design Competition. They’re calling it the Hurricane.
This car is “natural” in design concept, focusing on nature for its sustainable modeling. Solar panels along the roof augment the power systems/charging of the car and the cab’s design is as an “envelope” to cradle the driver. Over 90% of the frame is completely recyclable.

Being a concept, the engine’s power and energy requirements aren’t very well defined and it’s doubtful that the solar panels could completely operate the car–especially given it’s limited surface area; something that holds back all solar autos.
The wheels and car’s open design are really cool, though, giving a mix of muscular, sporty, and science gadget appeal. It’s a pretty far out design that is radical enough to actually look pretty cool.
