The newly-formed Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) was formed to associate western LEV manufacturers and dealers and to better form alliances in Asia. The association plans to hold its first member meeting at the Taipei Cycle Show March 17-20 in China. The group’s first organizational meeting will take place in Shanghai just before the show.
The meeting is sponsored by DK City Hosts and all LEVA members (and potential members) are invited.
Key points to be covered at the meetings include public infrastructure for light electric vehicles, political frameworks changing to favor EVs, and similar topics.
LEVA hopes to become the catalyst as a trade association to match western and Asian partners for light electric vehicle and related businesses.
