Honda’s Insight PHEV, which we covered during the Detroit Auto Show in January, hit the streets of Japan today at a base price of less than $21,000USD. The EX trim package is at $23,000.
Both the LX and EX packages will be coming to America in April and Honda has said that prices will be “under $20,000″ for U.S. When volumes of North American sales reach high enough levels, Honda plans to begin manufacturing the cars here, but for now is doing so at it’s Japanese plant.
