This is definitely an Xtreme bike, that’s for sure.  The Xtreme Green X Rider is an all-electric motorcycle that speeds up to 65mph and goes up to 95 miles on a single charge.  It looks pretty cool too.

The bike has classic road bike looks, with a hint of speed and a comfortable appearance.  It seats two with a load capacity of 330 pounds.  It weighs only 266 pounds, thanks to the lithium-ion batteries, and charges from empty in less than 3 hours.

The motor is an impressive 4,000 watt/72 volt monster mounted to the hub.  The batteries are 40aH/72V Li-Ion Phosphorous and are guaranteed to 2,000 charges (about 1 charge per day for 7 years).  They charge through a built-in controller and 110/220 charger.

With a range of 95 miles per charge, though, daily charging might not be necessary.

Xtreme Green Products is based in Las Vegas and produces both land vehicles and watercraft.  The company launched into the marketplace in October, 2008 having completed development of their first product line.

No official launch date for the X Rider has been announced, but it is expected to be before summer this year, according to the Xtreme Green blog.
