The motorcycle show going on in New York right now will see the debut of the new Vectrix models VX-1e and VX-2 on Friday. These much-anticipated new scooters in the Vectrix line promise some variety in the scooter market.
The Vectrix scooter design is already nice-looking, looking like the top-line scooter that it is. You may recall from an earlier post that the original Vectrix has been renamed the Vectrix VX-1 with the new 1e designation being for “economy” as this one will have a lower price point and be a little less zippy than its brother.
The VX-2 is said to be equivalent to a 50cc gas motor scooter, but is all electric (of course). It has a 45+ miles range and will be priced just over $5,000.
We’re excited to see these new models and even more excited to get some more specs on them, which are also expected on Friday. Nice job, Vectrix!
