Tata is the Indian company that bought Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford. They’re one of India’s premier auto makers, with exports going all over Europe, the Americas, and Asia. At the recent Bologna Motor Show, they revealed the latest incarnation of the Indica.
This car already exists in standard petrol-motor form, but this latest incarnation is all-electric. With a claimed range of 120 miles and doing 0-60 in about ten seconds, it’s an actual car, not a toy. It’s slated to hit the European market this summer.

It looks like a Honda hatchback mashed into a Toyota sedan, but unlike those two, it’s not a hybrid. It’s got faster get-up-and-go than the Civic and the Corolla for sure. It uses lithium-ion polymer battery, similar to the ones Hyundai is using in their new Sonata hybrid.
