That’s the best way to describe this EV, which is basically a solar-powered bus. It’s a glorified golf cart that can be purchased in configurations to seat up to fourteen. It’s all solar, however, and can drive about 49 miles at 25mph. All on solar power.
Innovative, I guess, but not exactly breathtaking. For a few extra bucks, you can ad the components needed (like seat belts) to make it street legal, but this one is mainly marketed towards theme parks, large museums, and so forth as a way to move tourists and visitors around. It’s open-air design and light frame make it ideal only in those areas where the sun is always shining.
Places like Florida, where Cruise Car (the company that makes the Kudo) is located. It was only a matter of time before someone took a golf cart and put solar panels on it. So here you go.
