If you’re looking for a performance two-wheeled electric vehicle, then look no further than the Quantya Strada, a new electric motorcycle offering from Swiss company Quantya.
The Quantya Strada is no electric bicycle - this is a performance machine, and it shows in its specifications. At a light 195 pounds, the Strada will put out about 16HP of power, and will take you to 50mph (depending on gearing). With 23 lb-ft of torque available from 0 RPM, we’re talking serious acceleration and smoke-the-tires performance.
The Quantya Strada can be recharged from a standard outlet and can be ridden for up to three and a half hours or 25 miles before it needs recharging. A full charge takes less than 2 hours.
Strada is available for sale now in all 50 states as a road-legal vehicle. It costs $10,700 for the version you see here, or $9,975 minus the license plate and with knobbier tires. Best of all, the Strada is available for purchase now.
